3rd ODI, India vs Australia Highlights: India loses series at Home

 

IND vs AUS Highlights: Australia on Wednesday beat India by 21 runs in the third ODI to win the three-match series 2-1.

India find themselves in a difficult spot in the 270-run chase against Australia in the third ODI. India got off to a strong start but lost wickets at regular intervals. India are currently nine down as Australia sniff a win. Virat Kohli scored the highest runs from the Indian camp. The former skipper smashed 54 off 72 before being removed by Ashton Agar. Hardik Pandya too showed good intent but was dismissed by Adam Zampa for 40 in the same number of balls. Zampa scalped four wickets in his 10 overs, while Agar scalped two. Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got India off to a flying start adding 65 runs for the opening wicket. Rohit fell for 30 and shortly after Gill was trapped LBW for 37. Steve Smith's fielding once again rubbed salt on India's wounds as Aussie captain's brilliant effort resulted in the run-out of Axar Patel. Australia, who won the toss and opted to bat, were bundled up for 269 in 49 overs. Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav led India's attack and scalped three wickets each.
