Indian women team lost the semifinal against australia

 India lost by 5 runs against Australia in the semifinal  of the ongoing T20 World cup 2023.

 

 India crashed to defeat vs Australia .Chasing a target of 173 runs, India was able to reach only 167/8 in 20 overs.

Highest score from indian side was by Harmanpreet Kaur she scored 52 runs in 34 balls.

For Australia's bowling department, Darcie Brown and Ashleigh Gardner were in good form and took two wickets each respectively

Initially, Beth Mooney was in brilliant form and grabbed a half-century as Australia posted 172/4 in 20 overs. Mooney slammed 54 runs off 37 balls, packed with seven fours and a six. Meanwhile, captain Meg Lanning smacked an unbeaten knock of 49 runs off 34 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Shikha Pandey was in good bowling form for India and took two wickets, Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav bagged a dismissal each.
